Terms of Service

1. What ClerkProof is — and is not
ClerkProof is a record-keeping and document-preparation tool for court-appointed guardians, conservators, and other fiduciaries. It organizes the financial records you provide and formats them into accounting documents, showing the citation for every deadline and rule it applies.
ClerkProof is not a law firm and does not provide legal advice. No output of the service is a substitute for the judgment of a licensed attorney. Deadlines, forms, and requirements vary by state, county, and individual court order; you are responsible for confirming the requirements that apply to your case and for the accuracy of the data you enter. Where our reference content is still under attorney review, documents are watermarked accordingly.
2. Your account
Access is by private token. Treat it like a password: anyone holding it can read your records. We store only a hash and cannot recover a lost token, but support can verify you and re-key your account. You must be 18 or older and use the service only for lawful record-keeping.
3. Plans, billing, refunds
Paid plans: Family ($99/year), Professional ($59/month), and One-time packet ($149). Payments are processed by Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; cancel any time by emailing [email protected] — cancellation stops future renewals. If a first-time purchase isn't right for you, tell us within 14 days and we'll refund it. If your subscription lapses, your records remain readable and exportable; making changes requires an active plan.
4. Your data
You own the records you enter. We claim no rights in them beyond what is needed to operate the service, and we handle them per our Privacy Policy. You can export your records at any time.
5. Acceptable use
Don't attempt to break, overload, or reverse-engineer the service; don't use it to store unlawful content; don't misrepresent generated documents as attorney-prepared. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service, with data export honored.
6. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages — including outcomes in court proceedings. Our total liability for any claim is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
7. Changes, termination, governing law
We may update these terms with notice on this page; continued use after the effective date is acceptance. You may close your account at any time. These terms are governed by the laws of the state in which IBEX Solutions LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.
